Overview
For our workshop program, we aim to educate the community about specific topics in the green industry. Currently, we are developing workshops for college students and residents.

Exploring Green Careers
Tech Go Green travels to local colleges to educate students about how to enter the green job market. The workshops cover a variety of topics, including types of jobs that exist in the industry, degrees and masters programs tailored toward environmental work, specific ways to gain related experience, and details about green networking events. By attending, college students should gain a solid understanding of the opportunities available within the green industry, how to increase their marketability and how to pursue their specific career goals. This workshop may also be beneficial for those looking into a career change.
Do-It-Yourself Sustainability
Via free public workshops, Tech Go Green educates members of the community about ways to reduce their environmental impact by making improvements to their homes. Topics include solar energy, insulation and heating, gardening and composting, electricity use, and recycled and renewable materials for the home. Information is taught in a simple, easily accessible manner that clearly indicates the goals, costs, benefits and methods relating to the chosen topic. If applicable, the workshops also provide attendees contact information for local businesses and contractors that can aid them in making improvements to their homes.
